Value for Duty Codes
VFD Codes typically contain 2 digits. These two digits represent the relationship between buyer and seller, as well at the Valuation Method used to determine the 'price paid or payable'.

1 - Parties are unrelated 2 - Parties are related |
Second Digit
3 - Transaction Value without adjustments 4 - Transaction Value with adjustments 5 - Transaction Value of Identical Goods 6 - Transaction Value of Similar Goods 7 - Deductive Method 8 - Computed Method 9 - Residual Method |
